We just love this rose here at Jardin de la Maison Rose. It’s a perfect rose to grow around a gazebo or through a lattice fence as it’s so flexible to weave in and out. We have two Rambling Rosie’s growing through some old French wooden ladders we found in our loft area and have placed them on the entrance to our rose garden. A rose that certainly commands attention.
2005 was the year of introduction for Rambling Rosie by it’s breeder Horner. It can grow up to 15ft so as mentioned is ideal for walls, fences, trellises, arches and pillars. A really pretty rose that is bright scarlet red in colour with small, almost single flowers, produced in large heads with a splash of yellow and white at it’s centre. Rambling Rosie is repeat flowering throughout the Summer months and has a medium strength fragrance.
Exceptionally disease resistant.
RHS Award of Garden Merit
